In regards to Edmonton, what area should one avoid renting/buying in?

When we visited I really did not run into street people/drug addicts etc..
well just once when we went to the Rexall Place for hockey.
Drug dealers were there but they so kindly directed us to the scalpers :lol:

I'd steer clear of Millwoods, near Rexall, the North East, and the East. I live down town, 2 blocks off of Jasper Ave and we've never had a problem. Yes there are some crazys but they're just entertainment

Well thanks for the reply, my son(who just moved there) lives on 90th ave and what ever area thats in it really wasn't bad at all.
