The Right Honourable Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada today announced the diplomatic nomination of Alexander Himelfarb, the former Clerk of the Privy Council; he is to become the Ambassador of Canada to the Italian Republic, with concurrect accreditation to the Republic of Albania and the Republic of San Marino; in addition, he is to become the High Commissioner for Canada to the Republic of Malta.
