From an opinion poll from the 7 to the 10 it looks like the Cons are going to loose or be a minority again just like in Nova Scotia. In Nova Scotia it was the NDP that almost came to power and have the Cons in a minority and in this one, it looks like the Libs are going to take power again.

Corporate Research Associates September 7 to 10, 2006

Cons:42%

Libs: 44%

NDP: 10%

Last poll the Conservatives had a tiny lead..........so don't bet on it.

I really don't care much anyway, I've never been able to get all wound up over provincial politics.............

You might be right, the big arena is in federal politics, that is where most important politics occur. However, it is nice to see they don't have suport at the provincial level, or as much.

Well, on the Federal scene, you're speaking with a card-carrying member of the Conservative Party of Canada, and before that the Canadian Alliance, and before that the Reform Party.

Somehow I get the feeling we won't agree on what is "nice" federally.

RE: New brunswick, next p

I remember hearing that with NB the gov is usually the opposite of Federal (Federal con, NB lib, Federal Lib, NB cons)

Yes, we've got the boy-who-would-be-premier running against the teenager who won't do anything that doesn't benefit Moncton. On the sidelines, we have someone wandering around hoping to be useful...

Let's see: The boy who would be premier figures that the way to solve childhood obesity is to give every kid a pedometer; I guess he'll solve literacy by giving everyone a pencil. The teenager without a clue hasn't got a clue, has no ideas, has no plans, just kinda wanders along doing nothing if possible....unless he can get more stuff for his hometown, of course.

I'd vote for the first party to commit to spending money on construction starts within 1 year of sewage treatment for Saint John, but alas, nobody important to the Lord lives in Saint John anyway.

Loose?

The Cons have been untied? NDP dippers spell as well as they add up budget figures.

Well, its 29/26 for the Liberals. We'll see how Graham cracker does in the captains chair.
