This in order to explore its mysterious atmosphere and solve its puzzles: they do not know what happened to Venus so that once existing life has been exterminated!

But see what the interpreter of the Quran and the Bible said since 1947 in the first edition of his book The Universe and the Quran which was published in Arabic.

"In the past, Venus had been inhabited: there were human beings, animals, plants, trees, and other things; but the life on Venus ended because of its standstill from axial rotation, and all its inhabitants died, its rivers dried up and its trees burnt; therefore, whosoever was on the day-side died by the excessive heat and thirst, and whosoever was on the night-side died by the excessive coldness and starvation."

When we study Venus now, we in fact are seeing our Earth after about 1000 years or a bit less.
Earth will go on its global heating, and changes will gradually occur in the atmosphere and in every aspect of life and other features, until it will be like Venus now:
its atmosphere will be full of chemical smoke mostly of SO2 and other poisonous gases and its heat in the hemisphere facing the sun will be extremely severe: hundreds of degrees centigrade, while in the opposite side freezing temperature will prevail.

In fact, God – be glorified – described the ‘muhl’ [which is the Arabic word in the aya] that it has three features:

The first: it is liquid; as in His saying – be glorified – in the Quran 18: 29, which means:

(And if they cry for help [because of the extreme thirst and heat of the fire], they will be helped with a water like the 'boiling turbid oil' [of sesame: the tahini] which will roast [their skin and gut] surfaces.)

The second: it has a dark color, is turbid: about black in color; as in His saying – be glorified – in the Quran 78: 24-25, which means:

(Neither cold [water] shall they taste therein, nor any [fruit] drink, but only boiling water and a black [or dark] liquid.)

The third: it is hot and boiling, as in His saying – be glorified – in the Quran 44: 45-46, which means:

(Like the "turbid oil [of sesame: or Tahini]" seething in their bellies [after its eating], like the seething of boiling water.)

So these three features is applicable to the fried and ground sesame when it is boiled on the fire in order to separate the oil from it.
Hence, the ‘muhl’ is the sesame oil with its residue, i.e. non-purified; which is called in Baghdad ‘Rashi’, and in Mosil and some other countries it is called ‘Tahini’.
The sesame, following its frying on fire, will be ground, and if they want to separate the oil from its residue, the ‘Rashi’ or ‘Tahini’ will be boiled on fire, so the oil will separate from the residue. So the oil is called [in Iraq] ‘Sheeraj’, and the residue is called ‘Kusub’."

They were two princes of the Children of Israel who were taken captive to Babylon; they were in hard circumstances in their prison, so they started to [gain money or food, etc] by teaching people the art of magic or sorcery: to separate husband from wife by the mediation of Satan and the devils.

Quran 2: 102, which means:
(And the [Jewish scholars] have said [about Mohammed] like what the devils had said about the kingdom of Solomon;

So God – be glorified – explained that witchcraft is some of the practice and custom of Jews, and it is not the practice of Muslims and their prophet:]

teaching men witchcraft,
and [teaching people also] such things as [separating the husband from his wife, and the humiliation because of the captivity that was] cast down on the two [Israeli] princes at Babylon, Haroot and Maroot,

[Then God – be glorified – explained that those two men, in spite of their being magicians, they had not cheated people, neither had they concealed the truth as have these Jews concealed the prophet-hood of Mohammed, even after it has been obvious to them that he is a prophet:]

yet these [two men] taught no one [of people] without saying [to him], "We are only a temptation, so do not blaspheme."
And they learned from these [two men] that by which they may separate man from his wife;
The [people of Babylon] harmed thereby no-one [of Jews] save only by God's leave;
The [people of Babylon] learned that which harmed their [people and the people of their city] and profited them not,
and [actually] the [people of Babylon] knew that whoever purchased it, [for him there will be punishment, and] no portion [in Paradise] will be for him in the Next Life,

[Then God once again started to dispraise Jews and their scholars:]
and vile indeed was the price for which they sold their souls, had they but known [the final consequences.])

They do not know the real reason for the weird features of Venus: that is what they call "Venus is locked in movement so that only one hemisphere is facing the sun, while the other is invisible to the sun (just like our Moon with our Earth: when Moon is facing the Earth with one face; the other being invisible to us on Earth.)

So this situation where Venus one hemisphere is permanently facing the Sun: it is this which caused all its disturbances and weirdness.

The Global Warmth on one hemisphere led it to be hell, while the other hemisphere became frozen.. this is generally. Its atmosphere once was clear like Earth's atmosphere, now it is turbid and dark and full of vapors and smoke.

This occurred in Venus after it had happened to Mercury before and will take place on Earth when its global heat will gradually increase and its atmosphere will be turbid and full of smoke in the future to become like the present Venus and like Mercury in the past.
