The incident happened in Nanaimo. I live in Nanaimo and this is not an every day occurrence in that city. I can't believe the jerks were only charged with manslaughter.

Yeah, that's why I said southern Van Isl. Juan, don't kid yourself that Nanaimo is any better then Victoria for crime. Nanaimo is where the criminals go when the heats on in Vic and vis versa. You are on the legal side of the fence. Criminals operate well under the radar for the most part. My ex use to buy his blow from the court bailiff in Nanaimo. Not small quantities either. He bought in pounds.
