As an American who in the 1960s lived in an Arab country as a youth due to my father's work to help its oil production, I heartily support the Australian government's resolve to preserve and protect the freedom, character and integrity of that nation and its people. Muslims who seek to impose their laws and culture upon any host country and its people, as they are commanded by their religion and in the Koran, are absolutely intolerant and wrong. I can only wish the government of the United States had the courage to set aside stupid political correctness and stand up to the corruption of the values upon which our nation was founded. The fabric of our nation is unraveling due to those within our own ranks who bow to every interloper claiming be offended if their preferences are not heeded.Be warned.

Researcher, when they riot and rage because they want to inforce their belief systems on us who is the one doing the imposing? It's not the west that is acting like savages is it. Everytime the Radicals see something they don't like they scream and rage and riot. Why, a cartoon. A paragraph of a lecture mere words. Funny we arn't silencing them but they have stated that we must follow their Sharia law and not speak of their God. Sorry I'm not a Muslim, and I don't give a rats arse about their "God" but to say that risks ones life because they'd behead me in "Canada" if they could get away with it. Tolerance works both ways, at the moment the West is the only one being Tolerant, the extremist sure arn't worried about their freedoms they just want to silence any voice other than theirs. Not going to happen, I hope.

You obviously know little about the United States, where we all live with religious freedom, including Muslims. But of course, anyone who emigrates to this country must abide by our laws or face the consequences. When I moved to an Arab country for a year, I had to abide by their laws and never imposed my faith beliefs upon any of its citizens. And I have never had the ignorance to call anyone a moron for expressing their thoughts or beliefs.

Either side is not being tolerant. Both sides have limited each other. Now, of course it is the extremists on both sides that are just happy with these moves. Because they get to protest and then western governments do restrictions and then on top of that that angers young western muslims who haven't done anything because I didn't think at the papal protest American or Canadian muslims protested and then they get angry and boom you have new recruits for the extremists who are in the middle east and that is how you get home grown terrorism.

I'll tell you what the people of the United States, Canada, Australia and most of the Western world will not tolerate: Any group, religious or other, who flies planes into our buildings and reeks death upon us. That goes for anybody, whether your skin is purple or you worship pickles. We will unleash a living hell on you, and all Americans will be ready and more than willing to push the button. As for tolerating all the crying and whining about not getting their way, there will be those who are extreme liberals who will say, "Poor babies, give them more attention." But I know what the worldwide purpose and goal of Islam is all about, and it is just a matter of time before even the weenies in America finally see the light.

I totally support you here. No one can see that, unless they lived in a place mostly ruled by the muslims.
I just want to say, muslim women living in ME, think different to the muslim women in the west, I should say, those in ME are not allowed to think, and if they do, they don't utter their words publicly. You can only judge the reality by trying it on your own skin.
THE BURQUES SHOULD BE RIPPED OFF THEIR FACES, cause those women who live in the western countries have no idea, but keep showing their stupid pride. By doing that they only generate the fanatism in others. I knew one woman, who married a muslim and became one too, one day she just said, oh boy, am I not lucky I can divorse him now. She wouldn't be able to, if she was over there. And apparently, it isn't so pretty being married to a muslim man, in their religion/tradition after the marriage he can do whatever he likes, sadly for him and lucky for her the law was on her side too.
