Multiple tornadoes reported in Kansas

Tornadoes were reported Tuesday afternoon and evening in north and central Kansas, including near Corning in Nemaha County and Culver in Ottawa County.

At least one home was destroyed west of Corning and several outbuildings were damaged, but there were no reports of injuries when a twister struck at 4:16 p.m.
A large tornado was reported about 5:30 p.m. in the areas of Culver and Bennington, about 15 miles north of Salina. The National Weather Service said the wedge tornado was nearly stationary.
Other tornadoes were reported in Barton and Rush counties in central Kansas.
At least four tornadoes struck northeast Kansas on Monday night, causing the most damage in the town of Marysville, where a twister touched down about 9:50 p.m., destroying two businesses and flattening some homes.
