as Part of ISIS Cell

it can't be.

A man, who just two years ago was the poster boy for the far-Left media's attacks against the U.S. government's no-fly list for "unfairly" targeting Muslims, finds himself and several family members sitting in a Turkish prison -- arrested earlier this month near the Turkey-Syria border as members of an ISIS cell.

It's a long way from 2013 when Saadiq Long's cause was being championed by MSNBC's Chris Hayes, Glenn Greenwald, and Mother Jones, and was being represented by the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) terror front.

His story got considerable media attention when his CAIR media representatives here pushed the story that Long wanted to return to his native Oklahoma from his current home in Qatar to visit his ailing mother but couldn't because he was on the TSA's no-fly list. They said his case represented institutional "Islamophobia."

They allowed him to fly from Qatar to Oklahoma but didn't let him leave. That's a great way to protect the homeland.

He's like America's equivalent of Moazzam Begg, the guy who was given a hero's welcome home by the British Left when he was released from Guantanamo in 2005 after spending three years there. The BBC, especially, is absolutely besotted with him, always giving him airtime about how he was "cruelly treated" by the "Great Satan".

He became a commentator on radio and television on issues pertaining to the UK Muslim community, and UK and worldwide anti-terror measures. He toured as a speaker, lecturing about his time in Guantanamo and other detention facilities. Referring to the War in Afghanistan, he said he completely supported the inalienable right of the people to fight "foreign occupation". Begg co-authored a book, and has written newspaper and magazine articles.

It's only a matter of time before they name a community centre in Leicester or Luton or Blackburn after him.

However, despite being feted by the Left, who see him as some sort of poor innocent victim, on 1 March 2014 Begg was charged with providing terrorist training and funding terrorism overseas, regarding Syria, and appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court, entering a plea of not guilty. However, he was subsequently released without charge (rather suspiciously I say).

Recently, in Bedford, Bedfordshire, hundreds of ‘peace-loving’ Muslims were meeting to plan their next move towards turning Britain into a Sharia state.

Most of the usual suspects were there, including, yes, you guessed it, the BBC’s favourite Guantanamo Bay detainee Moazzam Begg and other representatives of the ‘charity’ CAGE, which described the recently evaporated Izal beheading specialist Jihadi John as a ‘beautiful young man’.

To be completely honest, I only responded to your earlier post as an excuse to use the word cornucopia... I have so few opportunities to really use it in a sentence and, well, this was the perfect fit

same here...it's difficult working cornhole into daily chit chat. thanks bro.
