Well Mike,

I think the movie industry makes movies that sell. A lot of the movies on that list are sequels, which means the original movies made money. I can't argue with that.

I would agree Rev

I would also say that some movies should not have sequels. Robocop was a classic. The sequels were dopey. Blade Runner was a classic by its self. The original Lethel Weapon wasn't bad. I don't have much time for the sequels.

I know, sequels drive me crazy. In some cases they make sense, like if it was written as a triology, but usually they are just a contrived attempt to cash in on the success of the original movie.

Imagine for a minute if Superman was real, do you think he would allow "W" to get away with what he is doing? I would say no.

It's funny you should sat that, no1, but Superman's early incarnation has been described as a sort of "super-Roosevelt." He spent his time helping to save people from natural disasters or corrupt business men. He even knocked down slum dwellings in order to force the city fathers to build decent housing. Best of all, used his superpowers to terrorise munitions makers who were, in his mind, the cause of all wars.

You know, you are right.

A real Superman would have put G.W. in a close orbit around the sun a long time ago along with his cronies.
