I go to the Mayfair and Bytowne here in Ottawa fairly often. Independent and second run movies or older ones sometimes. The tickets are $6-7 for members (about $10/year for that). You only have to go to a few movies before you are saving money. Sometimes I go to the cheap nights at other theatres. The one in the St Laurent Mall is only $2.50 on Tuesdays. When it comes to regular prices at regular theatres - i rarely go.
I saw both of those when they first came out. December 2002. I remember it fairly well.
I remember watching the first LOTR movie in the theater. The part when he put the ring on his finger for the first time was simply jaw-droppingly amazing. It was the first, and only, movie I've ever watched more than once in a theater.
Star Trek: Nemesis had far too many bad things going for it to make it a pleasant memory. I particularly didn't like what they did to Data. It felt contrived and cheap.
I take if we ever go to the show I need to bring my big purse?
And here I thought my days as a mule were over.
You probably will have to, particularly if the weather is nice (the chocolate bars would melt in my pockets).
You thought incorrectly.
