Brian Williams led Tuesday evening’s NBC Nightly News broadcast with the story of the hundreds of schoolgirls kidnapped by terrorist group Boko Haram in Nigeria, saying it “now feels as if the world is aware and responding” to the situation. However, twice in his introduction to correspondent Ann Curry’s report, Williams said the kidnappings had occurred in Kenya, not Nigeria.
