Actually, that site presents both brands of footy. And it presents entire games, not just highlights.

Now what I'd like to see is entire cricket matches as the cric season is starting Down Under.

But again, I wonder why is it that the Brits + Kiwis don't present FREE matches all season long like the Oz's do. You know as well as I do that ESPN I + II and Fox as well as other USA sports networks are readily available world wide on cable or online. Thus, folks from overseas can see our inferior brand of footy and other sports. Therefore, it is only fair to ask that international networks make their brands of footy equally available to us unfortunate Yanks. It's only fair.

Preliminary final results

Port Adelaide and Geelong are through to the 2007 AFL Grand Final after winning their respective preliminary finals.

Port Adelaide defeated the Kangaroos 133-46 in front of a crowd of 43,953 in Adelaide, South Australia.

Geelong defeated Collingwood at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Victoria in front of a sell-out crowd of 98,003.

Here are some highlights from the games.

I'll have more details on the 2007 AFL Grand Final shortly.

Razor,

How about Didak's goal in the second period vs Geelong as the AFL goal of the year? He was nearly on his back and made a blind kick which garnered 6 points for the Cats in their strong but unsuccessful effort versus the Magpies.

What a game it was!!

hey razor - some good news: mhz.tv announced it will broadcast AFL for at least another couple of years

this means we Yanks can now watch real football on national tv!

You mean this one

Was awesome.
Did he play soccer as a boy ? because I have seen him kick spectacular soccer scissor goals on a couple of occasions.

The difference to soccer is that AFL players are under much more pressure as they can get tackled.

``AFL players are under much more pressure as they can get tackled.``

When I first watched AFL over 20 years ago, you used to see what Aussies call the 'coat hanger' or what we Yanks call the 'neck tie'. It's when a player jumps with his hands up to catch the ball while his opponent gives him a karate chop to the throat.

Nothing burns me up more than to see this dangerous and illegal play! Any SOB who does it should be arrested on the spot as the @#$#@ thing can be lethal!!:angryfire:

I'm glad to see that the League has largely done away with it but I saw it once or twice this season. ARGH!!!
