Mike Pence's quotation about a horse has left some confused
What began as a grown man innocently trying to share his love of ungulates with fellow internet users took a turn for the worse when Twitter users got a hold of Vice President Mike Pence's latest ode to horse loving.
Posted Friday evening to the @VP account, Pence wrote, "Outstanding afternoon," then quoted President Ronald Reagan in a speech he made in 1987 to citizens in North Platte, Neb., that is, "I've often said there's nothing better for the inside of a man than the outside of a horse."
Accompanying the message was an image of the former Indiana governor posing with some sort of steed.
Needless to say, the suggestiveness of the Reagan quote prompted Twitter users to take off for the finish line to see who could come up with the best response.
