Yep. Some Americans have already voted in the election via early voting, even though Election Day itself is Nov. 2. An entire list of states and DC have early voting, but some are not as forthcoming as others about data from their early voting.
One state that is pretty forthcoming is Nevada, where the really important US Senate race (Democratic incumbent Harry Reid vs. Republican challenger Sharron Angle) is the main event. The counties of Nevada don't say how many votes each candidate received in early voting, but they do name the party affiliation of the voters. The most populous county is Clark County (Las Vegas), and the results after the first day of early voting (Oct. 16, 2010) are: 17,059 total votes have been cast. 8058 of those (about 47%) are from Democratic voters. 6466 (about 38%) are from Republican voters. And 2535 (about 15%) are NP, or neither party.

The second most populous county, Washoe County (Reno), is going in the opposite direction. 4266 total votes have been cast so far. 1964 of those (about 46%) are Republican voters. 1733 (about 41%) are Democratic voters. 569 (about 13%) are NP.
