Well, if you buy into the whole idea of the death penalty as vengance for the family, then this must irritate the hell out of people. To have someone who murdered two elderly people in cold blood, die laughing... that's got to irk.

I suppose, but no matter how much he howls, the family can take comfort in the knowledge they'll have the last laugh. Perhaps they can throw it right back at him and be all jovial and giggly in the witness room, instead of the usual somber atmosphere. :smile:

I think if I was on Death Row, I would be thinking up a better joke to play then something like that. I think I would probably order a whole whack of KFC + Hot Peppers + Bean Salad for my last supper, then leave them a treat when they jab me with the needle.
