Man cut in half falling on saw

BROWNSBURG-CHATHAM, Que. -- A man was killed Sunday after being cut in half when he fell on a mobile saw mill while doing repairs on a cottage in the Laurentians.
The victim, said to be about 35 years old, climbed onto the conveyor belt of the portable saw mill to free a stuck board about 12:45 p.m.
The man lost his footing and fell into the two blades of the machine, which was still running.
He was cut in half and died immediately.
Police technicians were at the scene to investigate the death near the Ottawa River.
