Lions vs Riders

WHAT?! Likable? They're famous for sneaky, dirty, rough play. Saskatchewan is the only team worth caring about.
I think the western final's a tossup, really. Either team could win it. The Lions have certainly been more consistent over the season, while the 'Riders have had one of their best seasons in a long time but there were more than a few games when they apparently didn't do much more than just show up, and played at about the level of my old high school football team. But if both teams are up for the game, the western final's likely to be a better game than the Grey Cup game will be, and whoever gets to the Grey Cup game from the west is likely to be so bruised up they'll lose that one. I'd like to see Winnipeg and Saskatchewan in the final, that's a great rivalry and has made for some fabulously entertaining games over the years. And some ugly blow outs.
As a Saskatchewan resident of course I'd like to see the 'Riders win it all, but really what I want to see is the entertaining demonstration of athletic excellence that professional sports can provide. The older I get the less I really care about who wins and loses, I just like to see things done well.
I'm getting nervous about this.
Anyone see Wally Buono have it out with the sports reporter yesterday? I heard someone say he's trying to create the notion amongst his team that it's "us against everyone". Kind of like making them them the underdogs that have to prove something. Who knows, but it was an interesting argument he and the reporter were having. They might have to come into the Steel Cage.

These games could go either way. The Western game is sold out! Unheard of crowd for a Canadian game!
Really a tough decision when SK plays BC. My heart is divided. Just hope for a good game for all participants!
