An example of bought and paid Canadian legacy media.

This article from Canadian press “Trudeau mobbed by admirers at Stampede pancake breakfast”. It’s being republished by every major Canadian legacy media. Are we turning into North Korea and China? There’s an attempt to portray Trudeau and the Liberal in as much positive light as possible. This is intentional and we need to call out these journalists every time they pull out this crap. Media should never be subsidized by any government. This severely influences their decision on what kind of story to create. Government funding news media needs to be punishable by jail time. This article reads like a love letter to Trudeau and creates no value. We are being sheileded from any critisms of our government. This is bad for democracy. We are a G7 country. Our media is suppose to be free of government influence. Don’t get me started on bill c-11 and c-18. We need stand up to media independency. Media should not be in the business of republishing government talking points and press release.

And also full paid advertisements from every ministry and crown corporation. Media require these dollars .

Unifor needs the dollars to cover the pensions they lost to high risk investments such as real estate, carbon credits and whirlygigs.
