Liberal MP Wajid Khan defects to Conservatives

why khan why?!!
As Pak Student prez, personally I do not really have a problem with him crossing over, because after all, Dion did put significant pressure on him, and that publicly in a manner that I taught was inappropriate.. Also just because you are part of a party does not really mean you have to agree with each of their policies, you do after all get an independent vote on issues when brought forward…my only grievance is that I foresee the only MP with a Pakistani background not sticking around in Parliament next time elections come around… I really do not think the Pakistani community, who were so excited to have an MP that can relate to their needs, would look upon his defect too kindly,, maybe if was to NDP or even the Greens they would be ok with it, but definitely not the Conservatives…anyhow Mr Khans going to have to campaign harder to the other demographics in his riding if he wants to retain his seat next time elections come around
