Republican turnout is going to be a determining factor in the fall election and this kind of news along with the possibility of some high level indictments from the House is going to make it difficult to rally the faithful.

Exactly what kind of truth is going to shock the American public now. Outrage has already been factored into the polls. What we are seeing is the slow erosion of credibility.

Libby probably has a lot more interesting stories to tell. This may be more worrisome to the White House.

While I am not entirely sure how the impeachment process is used in the United States of America, I have no doubt that under such circumstances, if a Government had conducted itself in this manner in Canada (in a minority situation, at least) it would have been defeated and forced to resign.

I would think that this situation could reach the point where there may be the consideration of a motion for impeachment in the House of Representatives; however, even if such a thing were to come about at this point, I doubt that His Excellency the Honourable George Bush, President of the United States of America, would be removed.

You are way off target. No one is getting impeached over this and there will be no motion from the House where republicans are dominant.

sanch, I wasn't aware that a majority party in the House of Representatives could prevent the minority party from putting forth motions; that seems somewhat unprotective of the minority, or democracy, for that matter.

Once again... the President has the RIGHT to classify and de-classify information.

The Left rants and raves about the Bush Administration being too secretive and scream at every chance to have information declassified. So Bush declassifies infomation and they call it a "LEAK". They are so desperate they will grab at any straw.

How pathetic.
