This is a little surprising - usually leadership races generate a little positive energy for the party in question. But it would seem that Alberta voters aren't really seeing what they wanted to just yet. I wonder if the lead candidates are missing the boat by focusing on the alberta independence angle.

The new leader is going to have to wow the public pretty fast out of the gate or they'll have an actual fight on their hands next election.
