"Last Christmas" by Wham! has reached No1 in the UK singles chart for the first time since it was released in 1984.
Formed by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in 1981 at Bushey Meads School in Hertfordshire, Wham! was one of the most successful pop groups of the Eighties. The other two members of the group were backing singers Pepsi & Shirlie (the latter is married to Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp).
George Michael died on Christmas Day in 2016.
