Larry the cat has been spotted on Downing Street in a new collar.
Having been snapped for the first time since Christmas, it appears the new decoration could be a Christmas present.
Many online have joked that it could mean the political puss supports Brexit, or that it could have been a gift from Theresa May, who left him in the Number 10 offices over the festive break.
Larry is the current Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office, a title held by a succession of moggies since the reign of Henry VIII.

Many online have joked that it could mean the political puss supports Brexit, or that it could have been a gift from Theresa May, who left him in the Number 10 offices over the festive break.
However, a Number 10 spokesperson told The Telegraph that all Larry's costs are met by staff members, which implies the collar was most probably a gift from a kind civil servant.

Fans of Larry the cat were shocked to hear he spent Christmas working, and as did his rival mouser Palmerston of the Foreign Office.
The Telegraph was told "there will be staff in Number 10" over Christmas, but failed to comment on whether were any Christmas treats for Larry.
This collar could be evidence that the puss was pampered over the festive period, after all.
As of December 2016, there are now five political felines in Westminster.

Ossie and Evie were adopted by the Cabinet Office to tackle the mouse problem in Government offices.
A spokesperson said: "The cats are named Evie after Dame Evelyn Sharp, the first female permanent secretary, and Ossie after Sir Edward Osmotherly, author of the Osmotherly Rules, the guide that civil servants have when giving evidence to parliamentary select committees.
The place is now over-run with animals, as a week prior to this Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond moved his dogs into 11 Downing Street, where he lives with his wife.
A source told The Telegraph he locks his dogs away to protect them from ferocious Larry.
“The dogs are not free to roam around the house. The cat is all over the place,” said one friend. “Larry fights, he is pretty feisty. The dachshund is pretty small and I am not at all sure if it really came to a punch up who would come off best.”
