King Charles III has made his son the Prince of Wales a Grand Master of the Order of the Bath as the two attended a Westminster Abbey service to mark the 300th anniversary of the Order of the Bath with traditional British pomp and ceremony.
The lavish ceremony saw the King and his heir process through the ancient cathedral with officers, knights and the Dame Grand Cross of the order.
The honour which the British monarch has bestowed on his beloved elder son and future King is in stark contrast to the King's relationship with his younger son Prince Harry.
