A judge has today sentenced Valdo Calocane to incarceration in a high-security hospital for murdering Barnaby Webber, Grace O'Malley-Kumar and Ian Coates last year in Nottingham.
The judge did not state how long Calocane, 32, will spend in the secure mental unit but said it will likely be for the rest of his life.
This comes at a time when the British Government is looking at bringing in a new law which states that anyone committing murder will spend the rest of their life in prison with no possibility of parole, except in exceptional circumstances.
