John Prescott, the Welshman who was the British Deputy Prime Minister in Labour PM Tony Blair's administration between 1997 and 2007, had his funeral today.

Burly Prescott, who was the MP for Kingston upon Hull East, is famous for punching a protester in the face who threw an egg at him during the 2001 General Election campaign, which Labour won.

In a humorous reference to his nickname Two Jags, Prescott was accompanied by two Jaguar cars during his funeral.

Prescott died aged 86 on 20th November.

Former Labour PMs Tony Blair and Gordon Brown made speeches as well as our current Labour PM Keir Starmer...
