Randy E-mailed John with a problem. Apparently his application to the armed forces was denied due to a heavy debt load. As it turns out a big Visa balance raises a few red flags.

Oh my bad I think it's only half hour they did on the story.

Armed forces should take care of the debt on the condition that he serve 10 years instead of the five

If you want to make sure that the poor have more incentive than anyone else to enlist, that would be a great idea Liberalman.

If you want to ensure that your soldiers are actually there because they love their country and want to fight passionately for it, then it's likely something that would come back and bite you in the ass once bullets started to fly.

I am listening to the radio show and all they are talking about the garbage strike

At least the poor would have jobs learn, discipline, take orders and if they can’t do that then they walk in the front of the line while on patrol until they learn respect

I can see the recruiter’s point that you would be vulnerable for cash inducements.
They should have dealt with this issues before you were accepted for boot camp.
