I could have called it too...

Good ol' Sal can be counted on to dive in....anytime a Christian bashing thread pops up......

except you didn't call it, and that's the part I don't get, you're wrong but that doesn't stop you from holding that thought because of your need to belittle me or whoever else you and your group are riding at the time

This is a forum where we discuss ISSUES and events I know that isn't your direction on here, you like to discuss forum members in mocking derision ...I've never quite understood that... you don't take anyone on person to person, ya need a circle jerk of discussion but it brings you and a few others joy so have at it

as for the Christian bashing I don't get that either. I am not a Christian nor do I bash it, I could see problems with it even when I was a Christian as I can with all forums of belief

I think you view me as a basher because that is exactly what you are so to examine any thought must mean it is being belittled.

anyway as someone said to me, it's a just a forum and it takes all kinds so continue with your misinformed opinions, I don't understand the narrow view but it's your right to hold it

To me it's kind of like when you tell a story to someone then they tell it to someone else and then that person tells it to a few other and then the few others tell it to a few others,,,on and on, and each time a different person shares the story there is this tendency to put their own spin on the story and by the time the story has been told over and over and over again through a long period of time it is quite a bit different than it was the first time it was told. Maybe history is that way in a sense. mostly hearsay that doesn't resemble the reality as much as it does the imagination of those who told it. I was raised Christian and have loved the man all of my life. And even though I'm not in that religion anymore there is still that affection for the man and his teachings. It would be nice to think that the man had someone close like that who loved him and that he loved. But of course, if you weren't there at that place and in those times, you cannot possibly know.

Denigrating a whole people is bigoted. Denigrate those who deserve, in other words name names of individuals.
