Japanese McDonald's giving away 18-carrot gold McNugget

If you're ordering chicken McNuggets in Japan, look before you bite. That's because McDonald's is giving away an 18-carrot gold McNugget to one lucky customer.
The golden nugget is worth about $2,500, but it won't actually be found in a McNugget meal.
Instead, it's being given away as part of a social media contest featuring a new character: Kaito Nuggets, a dipping sauce bandit in a mask and a yellow suit.
Contestants are being asked to track him through a hashtag wherever he might pop up -- at restaurants throughout the country, at sporting or political events, or other surprise appearances.
A video introducing Kaito and the golden contest was trending on YouTube as far as the U.K.
