It's finally here, it's finally come!!!! :sunny: The Sun is shining, the snow is gone, the air is warm, and it's got that wonderful spring madness in it! Everything is waking up, and the Life Force is beginning to stir! Aren't you just glad to be alive? I feel this spring as a new beginning, and it does begin in such a nice way.

So, is it spring already where you live? People from different places on the globe, how does the spring unfold in your habitat?

In eastern Ontario there are still snowbanks but they're quickly melting. Road shoulders are soft and country laneways mushy. The wind is wild today picking up moisture wherever it can. Soon fairies will be dancing by moonlight in the springsoft woods. This is a magical land, you know.

Esto es la Primavera. Gustamos es !

I used to like the Fall and the Winter best, it's coming darkness was full of mystery
and interior thinking, populated by gnarled trees framing a luminous moon.

Now older, I love the Spring.

Instead of mystery, I love PROMISE.

On Tuesday, the actual first day of spring, I drove home from town in a blizzard so fierce that I could barely find the road. My drive was twice as long as usual. But, the same wind that drove the snow, has stayed to take it away. As it continues to blow, the two feet of snow in my yard is dwindling, bit by bit. It's warming up nicely, and I noticed on my drive home last night that the pussywillows are out, always a sure sign that spring is on its way.

It's finally here, it's finally come!!!! :sunny: The Sun is shining, the snow is gone, the air is warm, and it's got that wonderful spring madness in it! The snow is almost gone here too. And this morning i noticed some leaf-buds on some of the deciduous trees. The snowshoe hares on campus are looking silly, all white on the brown earth. It doesnt feel much like spring to me, though. In the UK spring happened ages ago. Real spring with flowers everywhere and rain all the time. I still havent seen any rain since september

That is one thing I really miss about Canada

Spring!

When I was a kid, the arrival of spring was when I stopped wearing heavy boots and my feet always felt lighter than air wearing regular shoes.... and when I could get away with it...bare feet on grass!

Lovely feeling....the soft gentle warm winds blowing on my face.... little flowers bursting out of the ground in my parents' gardens and the promise of new activities which were pretty much unavailable in the snowy months.

Where I live now - each day could mean any time of the year - they are pretty much the same - which has its advantages - but I miss that first joy of spring's beginning.

I would like to live in two places, two nations, one day I may get my wish. There are things to love
about every place I have spent time. Still I enjoy the season changes and in California they are not
as defined.

If I had to choose one however I would live in northern California near Eselan, Carmel, Monterey ....
it is beautiful country.
