Do churches and other non-profits have to account for where they spend their money? As long as they function truly to serve the community I have no problem with them being tax free institutions. I don't think it even matters if their charity is spent in Canada or abroad. Charity is charity and it's one of the few areas where I really believe what they believe. It's the nicest part of religion, why complain about it?
