Yes I have, Ten Packs. I've also noticed that a lot of people my age, and even your age, have exactly the same problem. For that matter I remember sitting in class when I was sixteen and listening to a relatively bright and well-informed young lady exhibit the fact that she couldn't actually read a short passage out of a book.

She was likely more qualified to vote than the teacher.

For that matter, I have long resented the fact that MY vote means no more than that of some guy who only touches a newspaper when it's time to re-line the bird-cage, or wrap fish'n'chips at the restaraunt in which he earns minimum wage.

Democracy is of most benefit to those for whom it means the least....

I remember the time when one had to own property in the City to vote in civic elections-hardly democracy in action. In revising my earlier stand,only 16 year old females might be mature enough to vote[the males certainy aren't!]

Me too, except the examples I would have used would be wearing suits and know how to tie a tie.
