China, to love you must have someone to love. Be careful. Love is a pitiless dragon. You must tame it or be devoured.

We do choose love, and yet...it also chooses us. We can choose whether or not to love, and whether or not to open ourselves to the experience of love. All of us are wounded in some manner or another--if only I could say that all of us understand this. Those who do understand are working on healing at all times, and there is no greater healing force than that of love. So those who are evolving , those who are clearing karma, and those who want to proceed on a spiritual path do open themselves to the power of love. Unconditional Love. This is a phrase that is often misunderstood, just as love is misunderstood. We can be in lust, infatuation, searching for security, and whatnot, but this is not love. Love is allowing each individual to follow their own path and supporting them on their path. It is forgiving each other for mistakes and allowing for errors within the relationship itself. It is also making a pact within ourselves to be who we are and to take care of ourselves first, for if we are not able to care for and love ourself, we cannot care for or love another. It is knowing when to draw the line and what to accept regarding the behavior of others. Knowing what you want as an individual[FONT=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif] will pull others into your life to love:love9: and will allow you to receive love in return.

Love is not dangerous, however there are 2 kind of love. GOOD LOVE is one of kindness and caring
BAD LOVE is one of obsession and control. Some people confuse the two but real good love does not hurt anyone.

I wonder if our society could mix a little love in with all that efficiency and power, and have a more
balanced way of moving through the business of life.
The hippies tried to do that, and it seemed so futile, as they only talked of love, but they were so
feeble in their efficiency level in life that they failed to accumulate any acceptable level of "good living"
And, yes, control over anything throws love right out the window, as it shuts love out completely,
your lover/wife will move out of the way, your children will fear you, your workers will hate you, and
you yourself will become confused because you will not understand why.

A truly confident man can truly love his family, a truly confident boss can have an efficient crew of employees, a truly confident parent will open his heart to his children and love them, with a great
response from them, as true love is a true strength, not a weakness.

Hello Dexter,How are you old budy .Thanks for the respons to my thread though I must say that I don't agree with you.-being a coward ,implies fear BUT love casts out all fear.So I think my dear Dexter that if a coward caught even a glimpse of "LOVE" ,he'd become a loving boy.

Oh there's a stranger
Standing in the shadows of love
Oh the danger
Demands what you're needing of

Be careful what you love
Be careful what you need
Be careful what you say
Be careful who you please, careful who
you please

Love, love, love
Love is dangerous
Lo-o-o-o-ove
Love is dangerous

Oh there's no warning
That takes you to the promised land
Hearts made of crystal
Crumble like castles of sand

Echoes of emotion
And the visions of a fool
Echoes of forbidden ground
And it's too good to be true, too good
to be true

Love, love, love
Love is dangerous
Lo-o-o-o-ove
Love is dangerous

Standing at the crossroads
Ooh yeah this is wild
Maybe it's my crossroads
Maybe this is mine
Maybe this is mine, oooh

Love, love, love
Love is dangerous
Lo-o-o-o-ove
Love is dangerous
Don't be a fool

Love, love, love
Love is dangerous
Lo-o-o-o-ove
Love is dangerous

VEREYA:
I think you are confusing semantics.

The word "love" can mean love for others as well as the state of being "in love" with a special or significant person - to marry - to raise a family with - to have as a lifelong partner.
I love many people - so do you - but we are not in love with all of them - we simply have love in our hearts for them and the way they fit into our own lives and thoughts and bring us happiness or satisfaction.
To be free to love many without restriction is a reaction with control because the more people we love and respect, the more we have understanding and control with that particular group of people.
Control does not mean chains and mind-bend .... it means we are both secure in our knowledge of each other..... and on a large scale government/the people.
I can't speak for China but that is how I interpret what he is trying to say....even through broken cables, tsunamis and earthquakes...

DEAR CURIOSITY,
You have "saved" me many times for which I thank You.
