Some who disagree with me on the subject of this thread don't understand how hurtful anti-Asian racism is, and consequently tend to minimize it. Some people who disagree with me are leftist apologists who excuse anti-Asian racism by leftists, but not others. Some people who disagree with me are rightists who don't accept the fact that they are held to a zero tolerance standard of conduct while leftists are not. Btw, I'm not sure Canadians are the best judges of what does and doesn't constitute racism in the USA. Canadians tend to want to give others the benefit of the doubt. It's a national characteristic in English speaking Canada imo, and prevents adherence to a zero tolerance policy approach.
