Of course it is; anyone who can't see that needs to change their outrage panties. The lead was using the Washington Redskins story and the new charity, it couldn't be any more obvious without putting a disclaimer on the screen.

Wait, you mean Colbert isn't a racist, republican, gay basher?!?!

Satire on race is not permissible in the politically correct USA...no exceptions. Even leftists must be held to the zero tolerance standard. By the standards of this era Colbert is a flat out racist.

Well, if you gauge the response, you are incorrect. Most people seem to disagree with those who were upset about this piece.

There is a difference between being racist, and trying to satire people who you think are racist.

Some who disagree with me on the subject of this thread don't understand how hurtful anti-Asian racism is, and consequently tend to minimize it. Some people who disagree with me are leftist apologists who excuse anti-Asian racism by leftists, but not others. Some people who disagree with me are rightists who don't accept the fact that they are held to a zero tolerance standard of conduct while leftists are not. Btw, I'm not sure Canadians are the best judges of what does and doesn't constitute racism in the USA. Canadians tend to want to give others the benefit of the doubt. It's a national characteristic in English speaking Canada imo, and prevents adherence to a zero tolerance policy approach.

I think that the issue is if this really is "anti-asian" in the first place.
