Is it judges or are cops simply immune?

I'm sure you've all seen the video of this cop gunning down a teen that posed no threat to anyone, he somehow escaped a first degree murder charge but was convicted of a lesser offence. Now one night in the cooler and he is back on the street, john or jane average would be cooling their heels but cops appear immune to consequences of their actions. Hafta wait and see how severe the wrist slap ottawa cops recieve for beating a man to death.

I honestly don't know whats happening in this world. I know for a fact that during police training you are trained to injure not kill. So how dare someone (especially an officer of the law) decided who's live has value over another. Something needs to change and fast.

The story of a 5 hour standoff on a bus last night may restore our sense of 'good policing'.

As in the Yatim case, the troubled person ended up alone on the bus but with a very different ending. Did this end the way the Yatim case should have ended because of the charges against Forcillo? Maybe but I also want to think that Forcillo is one of a minority of loose cannons.

As for the Abdi case, that looks bad for the cops at this point..

Nothing is wrong with the world, most of the people who die from policing died exactly the way God intended them too.

That pretty much sums up what I was driving at, there are plenty of good dedicated cops so why are the slugs treated with kid gloves, it paints them all with the same tainted brush. Why courts find excuse to trivialize cop criminality escapes me, no earthly reason for forcillo to kill that kid as tay points out, he should have heard the cell door close behind him instead of walking out the front door.
