Yes! The Republicans sure do like to cry blue murder when others do to them what they themselves are the more famous for doing.
Moore is well-known for these tricks of quoting. As I say, though, the Republicans practically invented the game and have been hot at doing it all through this election. As far as I'm concerned, the other side using similar tactics just makes for a more even playing field (albeit a dirty one). I suspect the practice is pretty common everywhere, really, but nobody comes close to the Republicans for pulling such stunts.
