From what I have heard, then, as a supporter of the Liberal Party of Canada, I would have been far more inclined to view the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada as a viable alternative to represent me in the House of Commons than our current dear friends, the Conservative Party of Canada (under the leadership of the Hon. Stephen Harper)?

Paradox, I think most Red-Torys have moved onto the Liberal party now. I can only think of a handful still in the CPC and most of those I'd say are red-torys just to be electable. I think if you truly are from the Liberal/NDP camp rather then the Conservative/Liberal camp.
