If a U.S. president insulted Canada, would we care anymore?

I am happy America delayed the projects as well. I also hope we do not build the
west coast project and ship our raw resources anywhere. We should develop all
our resources and sell a finished product only.
The same goes for lumber and other materials. We have the world wants it so we
should have one price for us and a higher one for everyone else. Free Trade be
damned we should look after Canadians first.

That is not practical as I believe Lou Dobbs finally came to realize, foreign countries simply don't want to pay us what we want for our labour (can't say I blame them).

I wouldnt be offended at all. Why should we be? This reminds me of Trudeau's reaction to finding out Nixon referred to him as "that sonofabitch." He said "I've been called worse by better people." That would pretty much be my attitude to an insult from the oval office.
