Denmark is actually the second largest country in Europe by area after Russia.

The Kingdom of Denmark consists of Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. The Faroes and Greenland aren't just territories of Denmark. They are part of Denmark itself. Greenland is as much a part of Denmark as Worcestershire is part of the UK.

After the USA, Denmark is the closest country to Canada.
