Yeah, he conveniently realised it... right after the election. He'd promissed no deficit... just before the end of the election. Wow, perfect timing to realise this when all the other parties, though hesitant about going into deficit, at least had the honesty to admit that they didn't know how serious things would be and that though they would try to avoid deficit, they wouldn't lie to the public by ruling it out until the end of the friggin campaign.
