"I bought myself a violin" is the correct English. The pronoun, rather than the object pronoun, should be used in that situation.

The best beloved of most many in my sight is correct grammar. Turn not away therefrom if thou desirest a pleasant style, and neglect it not if thou wishest to impress people. By its aid thou shalt type beautifully and not grammatically incorrectly. Set it then before thine eyes.

Northern Ontario,
Here is a good example of a good back-up fiddler Maurice Moreau, from Pembroke.....Sober or drunk....one of the best fiddlers I've ever heard.....
And then the guitar player, Lone Wolf has surely known,;-) the late Oscar (Lucky) Neveux from Markstay......

Sorry for the strange formatting in this one, nothing I do with the stretch codes will fix it.................

Okay...Fixed

I found out lately that the violin is glued together with animal glue. It makes perfect sense because of its advantages, but for whatever reason, while I could accept the horse-hair bow, the makeup of the rest of the instrument never crossed my mind.

Oh well, now that I've bought it, I'll learn it. Maybe I could switch to an electric violin later on in a few years.

Now that could be fun.

I think Yamaha sells those.

Or I could buy one sooner. The electric violins do have the advantage that you can really bring the volume down on them... or up :)

Oh, now that I have the elctrict violin in mind, I really want to learn it.
