3) Atari predates me, as do vinyl albums; I have heard of an 8-track, but never actually seen one.
4) The digital Disc was presented to Wall street when I was 1 year old.

:p :D

Well, then, you're younger than me, because I played Atari as a child. And I'm only 29....

I'm not buying the "never seen an 8 track" business either....I think I will send him one. :p

I'm sure you have plenty in your closet :p

Oh there is plenty of things in my "closet"...

I think my Dad still has an 8 track....I will see if he will part with it.

The interesting thing about 8 tracks is, at the same time that Motorola was pushing 8tracks to all the car companies, some weird European company named Philips was pushing these little things called "cassettes"; but of course, the NA car companies knew that nothing good came out of Europe, and those cassettes would never fly.

So for many years, 8tracks were the standard for cars, despite the fact that their technology meant they would wear out long before cassettes, and had far lower sound quality.

God plan, because I don't believe him either. 8 Tracks were still around being USED when I was about 8 or so, so even if he's a few years younger than me, he'd have seen one.

I live in the same city as mrmom (actually, a bit outside of it), have two grown and terrific sons, who are almost as wonderful as my long-time wife.

Age? Well, I co-authored the Course Outline for "Fire 101".

My birthday is on the 21st of August. First one to guess my age (not you Jay!), gets a Sam Adams six pack at home (and before anyone asks, its 5.2% alchohol)
