Am I naïve or what??? There is something wonky here. I would think only the lowest and most diabolical form of human life could deliberately murder her own sweet child and yet that is not what the pictures portray. What happened here?

Someone heavily medicated on what are (simply put) mind altering substances suffers a bout of psychosis.

All it takes is someone with a serious mental illness and a medical system that doesn't really care/pay attention.

I can see that, but the charge is 2nd degree murder, which implies deliberate intent!

Intent but not pre-meditation. This could include losing ones temper and hitting her hard enough to kill her or any other such act.
