That's a little biased. The Liberals voted in favour of the Bloc motion too. But I just finished watching the commitee thing on CPAC and both the Liberal and Conservative members could have cared less, and asked questions to the representatives of Hockey Canada that were completely unrelated to the Doan incident. I think both parties voted for it just so they wouldn't appear to be anti-French.
On a related note, did anyone happen to see the after-commitee media scrums? Just when I thought it couldn't get any more arrogant and rude than Denis Coderre, Bloc MP Luc Malo opens his mouth. Then he chickens out and runs away after being asked if, under circumstances that there were allegations against him that had not been proven, he should be removed from his job. The reporter repeated the question 10-15 times and was answered with yelling in her face and rude words, and an answer of "no" after roughly 10 minutes of frustration. The people of Verchères--Les Patriotes should be ashamed of their MP and send him packing the next time around.
