Of course I knew his name. When I was a kid that song was on the radio every hour so. When I bought a cheap K-Tel record that song was on it. It's been drilled into my brain. There's just no escaping some things, I guess

I didn't know his name, slightly too young, but I have retained certain associations from that song - my rational side tells me to laugh at it's cheesiness, but I'm sure I can feel a tear welling up from somewhere deep in my psyche. Mad.

I've been kind of busy lately, Mom...mostly researching the kinds of things that'd bore the hell out of everybody. I won't get into it other than to say that it pays the bills and is making my coffee supplier a gazillionaire.

I did some research by watching (or at least listening to) TV this afternoon though...Gomery is passe, look to committees investigating government contracts. ;-)
