actually Arlington, Texas is referred to quite a bit, I mean a professional baseball team plays there, but probably not the one considered when speaking of politics.

The conservatives don't have time to govern this country, they have too many conventions to go to in order to have a fresh start.
The number of make overs has made them look as silly as Michael Jacksons face for Gods sake.
This party has turned themselves into a laughing stock, and if they are not careful they will have a lot fewer seats than the NDP.
It is beginning to look like the extreme right has run its course in this country and soon people will return to serious debate about real issues. The Conservatives with Harper, Stockwell and people like Stinson, could open their hall of fame for fools.
The problem is, this leaves Canadians without choices, for a significant portion of the population. I am not too unhappy, as I am, far from being conservative, but a healthy democracy demands strength from all points of view.

The commercials are pretty pathetic, they don't generate any inkling in me. They regurgitate information that any half-concious voter would know.

They are a dying breed. For a party that has constantly revolutionized itself over the past 10 years, they really can't sell their ideology past Manitoba. Although, I am not for either Lib or Con, they both just seem like worn out boxers slugging it out with no regard for the damage they do. If anything is to be done to evolve canada out of its dependent, agrarian state it will be the newer parties that have arisen or are arising (NDP, Green, CAP, etc).

There's only one real respectable conservative politician that I know of in this country. There used to be two, but then Dalton Camp died. Joe Clark is a decent man who understands integrity and honour, and he may be the last real Tory in this little country. The current crop of people who call themselves conservative is, as far as I can tell, a crowd of fascist assholes more interested in kissing up to American fascist assholes (ach, the bastards are everywhere) than in doing anything useful for Canada or Canadians. The original Unite the Right convention got the name right. Conservative-Reform Alliance Party: CRAP.

heh heh... Stinkwell Gay.... heh heh... BRILLIANT!
