Interesting thread....
me thinks that if people can't agree on whether to lower the flag or keep it raised, then stick with what was done before the issue became an issue.
As for the unanimous decision in parliament to lower the flag for the navy officer... was it just for that officer or was it a decision to lower the flag for every officer/soldier thereafter?
The media... geez. If the media thinks it is so important for them to cover this, I certainly hope that it will still be important for them 100, 200, 300+ days from now. Nothing like media frenzy over the first few casualties and then when the Nth casualty comes home... no media coverage at all. Is this Nth casualty somehow less important than the first few?
