That way impressive! That commercial way more than 2 minutes long, selling plastic boxes….& they never said the word plastic even once!!!

While I agree with you on the 'lead by doing' and again it's just one thing this dipstick needs to get through his head...
On the other hand, flying IS the fastest way to get around places all over the world. And this is a world where everyone is up in everyone else's business, so to speak.
I think ALL people - politicians included - need to step up and say "Yes, lower emissions, but realize that some things still need to be done that will not do that so until we have smarter ways OF doing those things, we limit when we can, where we can."
IF a leader has to fly to Europe for meetings while Joe Public in the City can take a city bus to go places instead of a personal car to help offset the plane the leader takes, Joe will have to suck up to mass transit (and I'm HEAVILY generalizing here).
But again, lead by example and Trudeau should really put more effort into that.
I agree. Flying IS the fastest way to travel, for ALL of us.
If I take one flight a year for a quick vacation because time is limited & precious using a commercial flight (basically a flying bus), & Trudeau takes 10 vacations on a private jet….completely separate than any government duties & responsibilities….I really don’t want to heard him preaching that we ALL need to change to reduce our carbon footprints and so on and so forth…
