Happy Canada Day!
Every generation stands on the shoulders of those that came before it and we are no different. We are incredibly privileged to have our way paved by those that came before us. From the intrepid adventurers who first discovered this land, to the settlers who stepped into a largely inhospitable and sometimes brutal climate to tame it. From the farmers, fishers and miners who turned raw resources into something useful to the soldiers who faced actual Nazis. From the builders and businessmen who erected rails, roads and cities, to the workers that built water lines, electrical grids and telco networks that make modern life possible. To every scientist, technologist and engineer responsible for pushing progress ahead just a little further.
To all the doers of deeds, builders, workers, carers and providers
To all those standing against the forces of chaos and agents of disorder
